When to book it

Late fall after the leaves drop — and again in spring if you have pines

One cleaning in November catches the whole leaf drop before freeze-up, which is what prevents ice dams. Properties under ponderosa or fir need a second pass in spring, because needles shed year-round and pack tighter than leaves.

Pricing

$150 – $450

Single or two story, roof pitch, total run of gutter, and how long it has been since the last cleaning. Every job gets a written, all-inclusive number before we start — no add-ons at the end, and the quote holds for 30 days.

Questions we get about gutter cleaning

  • How often do gutters actually need cleaning?

    Once a year for most houses in the valley. Twice if you have conifers overhead or heavy tree cover — needles do not decompose the way leaves do, and they will pack a downspout solid.

  • Do you fix gutters or just clean them?

    We re-secure loose spikes and hangers on the spot at no charge. Re-pitching a sagging run, sealing a leaking seam, or replacing damaged sections is quoted separately once we have seen it.

  • Will you get on my roof?

    Only when the pitch is safe and the roof material can take foot traffic. Otherwise we work entirely off ladders, which is slower but does not risk your shingles.

  • Do gutter guards mean I can skip this?

    They cut the frequency, they do not eliminate it. Fine grit and needles still get through and build a mat on top of the guard that has to come off periodically.
